Paolo di Castro (1360-1441 approx) taught in Avignon, Siena, Florence and Padua. In Florence, he collaborated to reform the city statutes in 1414. Exegete of the Digest and the Code, his Consilia represent, after the work of Bartolo and Baldo, the most significant contribution of the counsel jurisprudence of the time.
