Baldo degli Ubaldi (d. 1400), a pupil of Bartolo, teaches in Bologna, Perugia, Pisa, Florence, Padua, Pavia. His commentaries on the Corpus Iuris Civilis and on the Decretales of Gregory IX, together with the work of his master, represent the most important contribution of the commentators' school.
