Arturo Onofri, Liriche, Naples, 1914. First edition (dedicated by the author to Aldo Palazzeschi)
The sixty-nine poems of the Roman poet Arturo Onofri, which Mario Luzi placed together with Pascoli, D'Annunzio and Campana among the poets of the Symbolist Idea, were published by Riccardo Ricciardi in 1914. Written between 1906 and 1910 they came out in a single volume which was part of the initial poetic strand chosen by Ricciardi to start his business. The copy, owned by Aldo Palazzeschi, to whom Onofri donated it in March 1914 with an autograph dedication, is now part of the Aldo Palazzeschi Collection, counting around fifteen hundred volumes, seven hundred pamphlets and numerous incomplete periodical series.
