Lacerba, rivista di letteratura, arte e politica, founded in 1913 by Giovanni Papini and Ardengo Soffici. At first by-weekly and then, from 1951 weekly, it was published by Attilio Vallecchi, important Florentine typographer and publisher from 1919.
From 1 January 1913 to 22 May 1915 a total of sixty-nine issues were published. It is perhaps the most famous and significant review of the Italian avant-garde. Among the collaborators Gian Pietro Lucini, Corrado Govoni, Piero Jahier, Camillo Sbarbaro, Guillaume Apollinaire, Paul Fort, Max Jacob, Ottone Rosai, Aldo Palazzeschi, Giuseppe Ungaretti, Dino Campana. The iconographic part is very rich and well curated, with reproductions of works by various artists.
